In illustrated dust jacket, shallow chips to extremities, closed tear with tape top edge front panel. Uncommon in dust jacket. Volume in the Narratives of the Trans-Mississippi Frontier series. Hall J. Kelley (1790-1874) "was the best publicity agent for the Oregon country in the early days . he might be termed somewhat of a visionary, but his pamphlets, his pleas to Congress, and the resulting publicity led to stirring up a great deal of interest in the new Oregon Territory" [George Tweney]. Smith 5432. Dust jacket is now housed in a removable, clear archival protector.

Our store is located in downtown Seattle's Pioneer Square neighborhood and is open seven days a week.
