Neuware - The Hazard Of Being Saved In The Church Of Rome is a compelling sermon delivered by Dr. John Tillotson before King Charles II at Whitehall. This 'Seasonable Discourse Against Popery' offers a critical examination of the Roman Catholic Church and its doctrines during a period of significant religious and political tension in England. Tillotson, a prominent Anglican theologian, presents a reasoned argument against the perceived dangers of adhering to Roman Catholic beliefs, addressing concerns about salvation and ecclesiastical authority. This historic sermon provides valuable insight into the religious debates of the 17th century and the complex relationship between the Church of England and the Church of Rome. It remains a significant text for understanding the historical context of anti-Catholic sentiment and the theological foundations of the Reformation. This work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important, and is part of the knowledge base of civilization as we know it.
