Descrizione dell’articolo da parte del venditore

Maroon cloth with maroon leather spine with gilded title and decorations. One of a series of forty in the Booklovers edition. We are offering over 25 from the collection individually. Most have varying degrees of chipping to the leather spine and discoloration to the cloth and there’s a previous owner’s signature on inside cover and on some, the book is gifted to owner’s granddaughter. Top edge has publisher’s red stain. The bindings are solid and the pages appear to have been turned infrequently and except for some light foxing on the end pages, very clean and unmarked. Please refer to the individual images for a closer look.

Descrizione dello Store

Rare Reads formerly operated a storefront in The Lakewood Antiques Gallery in Atlanta, Georgia but reverted to a strictly online operation when the Gallery closed. In 2006, Rare Reads published "The Heeey Baby Days of Beach Music" which received a bronze medal from The Independent Publishers Association. Long sold out, copies of the 13 pound tribute to the musicians who created the unique R&B genre are occasionally available on ABE. The book was a collaborative effort of Rare Reads and many others including the musicians that created the sound Southerns term "Beach Music." Rare Reads is considering future publications in addition to expanding its online enterprise. Rare Reads is operated by Greg Haynes and son Reid Haynes and has warehouses in Atlanta and Athens, Georgia.
