Vol IV., History of the French Consulate & Empire 1812 - 1814. pub. 1860. xx., 662pp. inc. index, 9 pl inc. frontis, 7 maps (1 folding). All four vols in similar condition. Foredges browned, preliminary leaves, plates and maps lightly browned with some light foxing, text pages very light browning, near very good in original mid 19th century half red morocco gilt raised bands, marbled paper covered boards, black morocco gilt labels, Vol II lacking one of the labels. boards rubbed, leather marked and rubbed at extremities but bindings sound, good plus. The set weighs over 6 kg, destination specific shipping costs will be quoted. e.g to USA shipping cost doubles from standard Size: 4to - over 9�" - 12" tall.

Orders ship within 3 business days. Stated shipping costs are based on books weighing 1 kg./2.2lbs. so we regret that we cannot ship at the rates quoted by ABE if a book weighs more than this. Please contact us first to obtain an accurate price before completing a purchase. If your ordered book is heavy or oversized, we will let you know the extra cost of shipping.

A short note about surface/standard/economy mail. This is a SLOW method of shipping, less reliable (and not always the cheapest!). Your book may take between 6 - 12 weeks to arrive (depending on the destination) and we have experienced a disproportionate number of books lost in transit.
