Neuware - 'R. A. Van Vleet's Honeycomb is a fast-moving, realistic romantic mystery crime thriller that kept me engaged from the first four pages of the novel. I found it difficult to stop reading. The characters are well-developed and authentic, and the ending was a heart-wrenching surprise I didn't see coming. I encourage anyone interested in a realistic romantic crime thriller to buy a copy of Honeycomb; you won't regret it.' - Tag GilbertUndercover DEA agent Ian Martin never expected a chance encounter with actress and real estate agent Sam Williams to upend his life. But from the moment he lays eyes on her, attraction and danger become inseparable. When Sam becomes the target of a ruthless enemy, Ian is forced into the role of her protector, determined to keep her safe. With every passing moment, the threats grow more relentless, leaving them trapped in a deadly game where one wrong move could be their last.As Ian, his DEA boss, and Detective Michael Ryan race to uncover who wants them dead, they find themselves entangled in a web of secrets, betrayals, and long-buried grudges. The attacks escalate, each one more ruthless than the last. But the key to the violence lies in a twenty-two-year-old secret-one so explosive that, once revealed, it will change everything Ian thought he knew about the danger surrounding them.and about Sam herself.--'This book was beautifully written and had my attention throughout, The twists kept me on the edge of my seat, turning the pages as fast as I could and my thoughts kept returning to this book long after I finished reading it.' - Alma Boucher for Readers' Favorite, 5-stars'Early and often, we see Van Vleet's action scenes written with great skill and precision. There's a sort of natural choreography unfolding on the page, making it always easy to visualize and immerse ourselves in the cinematic thrill we come to expect from the Bournes and Bonds of the world.' - Independent Book Review'While the plot delivers suspense and unexpected twists, the heart of the story lies in mutual support, resilience, and the belief that love can thrive, even when Sam and Ian find themselves in enemy territory. I enjoyed it all. I recommend this novel to crime and suspense thriller enthusiasts everywhere.' - Kean Sackett-Moomey for Readers' Favorite.…
