These are a look at the percentage rate of the odds horses win and get placed for individual types of races. Where are the odds-on horses coming in, where are the 16/1 shots more likely to fall etc. 2774 races were looked at, less for jumps than flat. 666 jump races, 449 all weather races and 1659 flat races. These were divided into handicaps and non handicaps plus further divided into 4-7 runners, 8-11 runners, 12-15 runners and 16+ runners. The book contains tables showing the results of this for wins and placed. The book further sorts a lot of this information into top 10 and top 20 results in various ways. The book may be useful to show horses you’re interested in, depending on what the odds are, if it is a type of race where horses of those odds do well are not as the case may be. However, I must stress this is not a guaranteed way to make money but a helpful guide nevertheless and may help in your overall strategy.
