Aggiungere al carrelloBarrett C. Kiesling, How Talkies are Made. Printed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, Sept 1, 1936. 11x8 , 91 leaves. __+__ Offset printed from typed originals, and bound by two brass brads. This is an early version of Kiesling's "Talking Pictures and How They are Made", which would appear in the next year. __+__ It seems to me that this production wasn't made for mass distribution. Condition: GOOD+. The wrapper covers are dusty, and have some folds from long-ago dog ears, but the text is bright and fresh. This is from the Library of Congress (with their perforated LC on the title page and surplus rubber stamp on the rear cover. __+__ Scarce: this is unlocated in WorldCat/OCLC (there are three copies of a 1937 microform located). The published/book 1937 version of this work is readily available. The MPPDA (Motion Picture Producers and Distributors of America, Inc.) has a copy from 1935 in their archives (and online). [++] Barrett C. Kiesling [Publicity director, Realart Pictures 1922; Cecil B DeMille 1924-1927; Producers Distributing Corporation, 1927-28; Pathé 1928; Publicity Director for MGM (1928 ~ 1955)].
