Informazioni sull'autore: William A. Ewing has been an author, lecturer, curator of photography and museum director for more than forty years. His many publications on photography include The Body, Edward Burtynsky: Essential Elements, Civilization and Flora Photographica, all published by Thames & Hudson. Elisa Rusca is an art historian, writer and curator. She is currently director of exhibitions and collections at the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum in Geneva. The Prix Pictet is the world’s leading award for photography and sustainability. Across nine, themed cycles to date, the prize has been presented to a photographer who, in the opinion of the independent jury, produced a series of work that is both artistically outstanding and presents a compelling narrative related to the theme of the award.
