Red cloth. 668 pp. No illus. This index to reproductions of paintings lists the work of artists occurring in 328 books. The paintings are entered under the name of the artist, by title of picture, and by an abbreviated entry for the book in which the reproduction may be found. Includes a preface, a list of works indexed, and a key to symbols used for locations of paintings. The supplement is bound in green cloth with gilt lettering and continues the earlier index as a continuation of the work first published in 1948, and covers what was illustrated in more than 400 books on art, books on individual artists, and exhibition catalogues through 1961. Indexed by artist and topic or title. The material chosen introduces the names of new and older artists and of additional reproductions and follows the same format as the original index.

We have about 1000' of backlog in our specialties numbering over 30,000 items (including 20,000+ smaller and ephemeral catalogues devoted to individual artist exhibitions). Current stock occupies over 2.3 miles of shelving. We are active buyers as well as very active sellers, and supply entire reference libraries as well as individual titles. We ship books almost everywhere, with the exception of China due to restrictions. Our website mullenbooks.com maintains our entire database of over 150,000 titles dynamically, so you can submit "wants" for books which are listed, but not currently in-stock. It is a major research tool. Despite what Google may indicate, we are only open to visitors by appointment, as our schedules are dynamic depending upon the needs of our valued employees.…
