Shaw, Esq., (Attorney at Law, CPA, CRISC, CIPP, CISM, ERMP, CFF, CISA, CGEIT, CCSK) is an attorney based in Tokyo, Japan, who works with organizations in Asia and globally on Information law (privacy, information security, e-discovery), Internet law (cloud computing, social networking, intellectual property, e-commerce), international transactional law, compliance, information governance, and litigation and technology risk assessment/reduction. He writes extensively on Information and Internet law and technology and also on Asia-Pacific law, as he has resided in Asia for the last sixteen years. He is the editor of several American Bar Association technology law publications, including the Information Security & Privacy News and the EDDE Journal and is a coauthor of the forthcoming ABA book, Cloud Computing---A Practical Guide for Lawyers.
