Paperback. What would an intergalactic war look like? How would Humans stack up against a diverse lineup of alien races? It's been 150 years since Humans left Earth, enlisted by an advanced alien race to join a military effort in defending the Milky Way from invasion. An unidentified spacecraft enters the Milky Way. Humanity's worst fear is realized. The Slayers have arrived. The Milky Way is ravaged by war. A sect of Human religious zealots exploit this window of opportunity to side with the enemy - who they consider to be Gods, coming to bring humanity to salvation. Blinded by faith, the Destineers cripple UCOM defenses as they aide the Slayer invasion. Humanity is cast into battle as they rise to meet a superior enemy. Intercept tells a tale of epic battle proportions through the experiences of several unlikely protagonists. Eve, a Sylvandrian Clone, is the first to discover a Slayer stealth vessel penetrating UCOM remote intelligence outposts. After retreat portals are destroyed, a low ranking stealth pilot suddenly finds herself in a strategically critical position behind enemy lines. Frank is a widely popular broadcaster with bad vices and a suicidal disposition. After the Slayer invasion, he is suddenly reunited with an old flame who gives him a much different view on an increasingly chaotic world. Casi is a smart AI - the first of her kind on planet Earth. She finds herself deep inside alien servers on a mission to obtain an encryption key to neutralize a debilitating sound pulse that has changed UCOM soldiers into violent zombies. Francis leads the UCOM military through top level strategy that grows increasingly desperate with rapidly shrinking options. Bear is a spec op Titan android who is trained to commandeer enemy vessels after being shot from from a rail cannon. He and his small crew find themselves surrounded by their zombified compatriots, battling through hoards big enough to test the very limits of thickly armored mechanical bodies. Sid is a Destineer religious zealot who believes the invading Slayers are Gods coming to bring mankind to salvation. Acting on his beliefs, he attacks UCOM from within just when they are at their weakest point. The Frontline is book one in an epic saga Intercept trilogy. Book two, The Inner Ring is also available for purchase. Book three Defending Earth is currently being written. This item is printed on demand.
