is a qualified SSADM practitioner with an industrial background and extensive experience of teaching analysis techniques to students and practitioners.
David Deeks has many years of experience in the application and teaching of systems analysis, and continues to offer training and consultancy to large and small organisations, particularly in the PISO method.Both authors are Readers at the University of Sunderland and have worked closely together for almost ten years. They have a particular interest in bringing real-world aspects to their teaching and are noted for their innovative approaches.
