Paperback. An Island in Time is a sci-fi adventure about time travel, found family, and discovering your power in a world that feels beyond your control. Two hundred years in the future, sixteen-year-old Gwin Wells boards a time-travel research station expecting to observe history safely from orbit. But when the station is hijacked by a group determined to rewrite time for their own ends, Gwin and her classmates are thrust into chaos. Their attempt to intervene fails, and they are stranded in 2026, an ancient past by their standards.Six months later, Gwin begins to rebuild her life in a small Ohio town. She forms a found family and starts to accept her new reality, carving out a fragile sense of belonging in a time that was never meant to be hers. That stability shatters when Gwin is pulled into a centuries-spanning conspiracy and discovers that an older version of herself is entangled in its sinister design.Forced to choose between protecting the life she has built and risking everything to restore a future that may already be lost, Gwin must confront who she is and the shadowy person she may yet become.Blending a high-concept time-travel hook with a character-driven voice, An Island in Time weaves together a twist-filled mystery and eerie cryptid folklore born from fractures in the timeline. The novel stands on its own while opening the door to a larger series, resolving its central arc while expanding a world where time itself is anything but stable. This item is printed on demand.
