Grey and illus. stapled wraps; 40 pp.; Profusely illustrated with bw and color photos. Documents in history and example porcelain made along the banks of the river Thames at Isleworth, from around 1766-1800. "We have deliberately concentrated on the porcelain that we consider to have been made at Isleworth. This small gathering of possible candidates for an Isleworth attribution is in no instance intended to be definitive but rather as an indicator to what we consider to be the right direction for future ceramic scholars. We fully appreciate that this is neither a scientific nor studiously academic exercise, but we hope this will encourage further research among scholars and that more pieces will come to light that fit into this category." (foreword) The annotated and illustrated catalogue presents 50 pieces. This copy is SIGNED by Rod Jellicoe on the first page. Uncommon. VG (Owner's name written inside front cover; SIGNED BY CO-AUTHOR on first page.).

Our specialties include the Humanities, with an emphasis on Art, Architecture, Photography, Decorative Arts, History, as well as Periodicals related to those areas. We have very rare as well as fairly common titles. Current inventory is approximately 79,000 titles. We have about 1000' of backlog in our specialties numbering over 30,000 items (including 20,000+ smaller and ephemeral catalogues devoted to individual artist exhibitions). Current stock occupies over 2.3 miles of shelving. We are active buyers as well as very active sellers, and supply entire reference libraries as well as individual titles. We ship books almost everywhere, with the exception of China due to restrictions. Our website mullenbooks.com maintains our entire database of over 150,000 titles dynamically, so you can submit "wants" for books which are listed, but not currently in-stock. It is a major research tool. Despite what Google may indicate, we are only open to visitors by appointment, as our schedules are dynamic depending upon the needs of our valued employees.…
