The Jesse Tree is a beautiful tradition that celebrates each day of Advent by placing an ornament on the tree and reading the corresponding Bible story. This tradition helps foster the anticipation of the Christ child's birth as God's plan for salvation is unfolded more and more each day. The first day of Advent begins with the story of creation and continues through the Old Testament touching on many of the key stories and culminating with the birth of Jesus Christ on that first Christmas. The Jesse Tree is a tradition that the whole family can enjoy. It is a family tree of sorts for Jesus. We pray this helps to deepen your family's experience of Advent and becomes one of your cherished family traditions to be passed down though your family tree.Designed to complement the Jesse Tree Ornament set by Jesse Tree Treasures. Each day features an illustration for the story, a child friendly summary, a short prayer, and additional abridged scripture text to be used as further reading and to explore as your children grow.
