Dylan Cooke is living a typical Christian life—stressed, discouraged, wondering where God is. Until one day he starts receiving a series of letters that show him a life unlike any he has experienced. Or even heard of. Could these letters really be from Jesus?

This life—the life that I have given you—is simple. So simple, in fact, that you have to be like a little child to receive it. That’s what I told my disciples, remember? But sometimes the simplest things need to be explained, because they seem complicated at first. That’s what this life seems like to you: complicated. But it’s not. It’s the simplest thing. . . . As you look at what I said before in the Bible, it will be clear that what I’m saying here is not new. Nothing needs to be said that hasn’t been said previously. You simply need to hear it freshly. . . . My plan for you from eternity past is greater than you know, and things have already happened to you—wonderful things—that you haven’t fully understood. So let’s back up. Let’s start at the beginning, so we can lay a proper foundation. And you will see how simple this life really is.

As Dylan reads through each of the 22 short letters, his whole view of what he was designed for, and how he is meant to live this life, is changed forever.

“’I feel born again, again!’ is the refrain many are singing at our church after reading David Gregory’s latest book. Personally, after reading it the first time, I could not believe what I was reading. As a ministry leader and pastor for over 30 years, I had read all the scriptures contained in this book dozens of times. However, it wasn’t until reading this book that the scriptures came alive again for me and I felt totally renewed! As I encountered Jesus on each page, I too felt as if I was being born again, again.”
—Bryan Thomas, Senior Pastor, Community Bible Church Highland Park, San Antonio

“As I read If Jesus Loves Me Why Isn’t This Working, I experienced a calming peace and an uplifting joy, evidences that I was encountering God himself. You can, too, as David Gregory invites you into an intimate conversation with God who unfolds the truth about Christianity to you with such great clarity, you will discover the kind of Christian life you always hoped for. Reading this book could be one of the best decisions you’ve ever made!”

When I read If Jesus Loves Me Why Isn’t This Working?, I realized that it is much more than a book. Rather, it is an invitation. An invitation to enter into the greatest Life you have ever known—your life as it was meant to be lived. Please accept the invitation. If you do, your life and your relationship with Jesus will be changed forever.”
—Bill Loveless, Director, Christ Is Life Ministries“For a long time I didn’t know how much God loved me. Even after I was told, I had trouble believing it. With good intentions, I had been struggling to try to love God more and didn’t realize how much I first needed to be convinced of His love for me. This unique little book is the perfect ‘recalibrator.’”—Karl A. Kakadelis, Executive Director, Grace Ministries, Inc.
