Large format UK paperback annual. Not dated on cover. Previous owner gift inscription on title/contents page for Christmas 1954. Surface wear/creasing on covers. Some loss on bottom of cover spine, exposing underlying book paper(binding is secure). Some stress on interior binding between covers and first/last pages. All pages are secure. Pages are not numbered. With covers the annual has approx 100 pages. Two tone colour comic strip illustration. Tanned pages. Small nicks on edges of a few pages(minimal affect on text/art). Collects U.S. newspaper comic strips published by the King Features Syndicate. NB: The Phantom(by Lee Falk) appears on cover and is listed on the contents page but does not feature in the book. Long Comic strips stories featured are Brick Bradford(by Clarence Gray), Mandrake the Magician(by Lee Falk and Phil Davis) Johnny Hazard(Frank Robbins) Buz Sawyer(Roy Crane) plus short strips featuring Blondie, Bringing Up Father, The Katzenjammer Kids, Right Around Home, Popeye, Beetle Bailey, Tillie the Toiler, Grandma(by Chas Kuhn), Pete the Tramp(by C.D. Russell), Hubert(by Dick Wingert), Henry(by Carl Anderson). Location: M4.
