An original vintage piece that was originally published by the author in 1881. This 1882 version is a pocket-sized edition that is vertical in format and measures 3.75" x 7.25" with 31 pages, plus a four-panel foldout printed on blue paper that is mounted into the inside front cover. This fold out shows a diagram of various parliamentary motions and the negative and affirmative rules associated with each. Each page of the body of this book is framed in decorative red borders. The front cover of this hardcover book shows the title on a diagonal in slightly faded gilt lettering. Slight scuffing along edges and spine, but binding is tight and intact and this nearly 140 year-old item is in remarkably good condition for its age, with no marks of any kind.
