As well as being an internationally known children&;s book author, Moira Butterfield is a keen cyclist and likes nothing better than taking her mountain bike off-road. She has cycled long-distance through Rhajastan for charity, and has taken part in several UK charity cycle rides. She is an avid cycling sports fan, too.

Kath Jewitt is also a regular cyclist and book author. Her home is filled with cycle parts, as her husband and son are both cycling devotees with an impressive knowledge of bicycle mechanics and techniques.
