She began writing then, but did not start saving her work until she enrolled at Mico Teachers' College. Writing for her has always been a pleasurable pastime during which she captures and records various human experiences and issues, mostly in rhymes. As a teacher of English for over two decades, she enjoys working with high school kids and is always delighted to see them grow from being petrified by this genre of literature to becoming more appreciative of it. Informazioni sull'autore: Charlene Elson-Gustard grew up in Kellits/Crofts Hill in the hilly interior of rural Jamaica. She is a wife, mother and teacher who lives and works on the Vere plains. She enjoys sports and reading.
