ersten großen Monografie zu den Arbeiten von Lederer Ragnarsdóttir Oei 
bildet der zweite Band den vorläufigen Abschluss der langjährigen 
freundschaftlichen Zusammenarbeit der drei Partner*innen. &;Zuerst die 
Stadt, dann das Haus&;: Dieser Leitsatz offenbart die ideellen 
Gesichtspunkte, denen sich das Büro von Beginn an verpflichtet sah. Und
 auch der zweite Grundsatz &; &;Drinnen ist anders als draußen&; &; spiegelt
 sich in ihren Gebäuden wider: Die Gestalt des Hauses im öffentlichen 
Raum ist der Stadt verpflichtet, das Innere des Hauses den privaten 
Bedürfnissen und Lebensvorstellungen der Bewohner*innen. Gebäude sind 
keine industriell gefertigten Produkte, sondern Individuen, in denen 
sichtbar wird, dass sie mit Kopf und Hand geschaffen wurden.
