There is much talk these days about the rise of the feminine and how it will heal us and our world. Often, however, we picture this cataclysmic shift in humanity within the patriarchal worldview, as if the feminine way will simply be a kinder, gentler version of the masculine.

We are not building a hierarchy to take us there, we are joining hands to form a circle which expands each time a woman awakens to the call within her.

This book will point you to your circle and provide the resources you'll need to birth many new storylines alongside them. You may already have a group of women in mind to join you in this work. Or maybe not. Maybe the work is calling to you and the right companions will appear.

Either way, buckle up because we are going to turn ancient myths about femininity and what it means to be a woman on their head!

At long last, we will reconcile our inner knowing with the narrative that mirrors it rather than denying and subverting it. We will fully embody our sacred feminine nature through the power of storytelling, specifically through the story of the world's first woman as conceptualized by Western civilizations.

Our compass is an artistic compilation of women's encounters with Lilith. Some are grounded in research; some in lived experience; some in poetry; and others painted and sung. All were birthed by trusting the inner voice we've been conditioned to ignore.

Lilith may have been the first woman to subvert the expectations of her, but let us not let her be the last.

Praise for Lilith Circle Guide

"This sacred guide is a holy invitation back to our free, sovereign selves through Lilith herself. Featuring the voices and prayers of her daughters, this book provides clear and gentle guidance on resurrecting Lilith within ourselves through the alchemy that only circle can create. Lilith is calling her daughters home, so we may liberate ourselves and each other, celebrating each step back to our power in sacred sisterhood."

-Syma Kharal, International Sacred Feminine and spiritual coach, healer, speaker, retreat leader and #1 Amazon bestselling Author of the books Goddess Reclaimed and Manifest Soulmate Love'

'The Lilith Circle Guide is an invaluable contribution to both the existing body of knowledge on Lilith and to framing practical ways in which Her teachings can be passed on and re-animated in women across cultures. Monette Chilson of Girl God Books has created a comprehensive workbook to accompany Original Resistance: Reclaiming Lilith, Reclaiming Ourselves and is an integral part of Girl God's plan to create Lilith circles worldwide. The Guide is laid out beautifully, offering a step-by-step blueprint for successful women's circles that both beginners and experienced circle facilitators will appreciate. The words and tone of the Guide reflect a voice of wisdom borne of Monette Chilson's and Girl God Founder Trista Hendren's own devotion to women's growth and empowerment, and their experience in writing for and collaborating with women. The language is inspirational and clear in a way that invites women who have never led a circle to do so with more confidence and realistic expectations.

The structure the Guide lays out allows for women to participate at their own comfort level while challenging themselves to push through areas that may at first feel strange or unfamiliar, as they get in touch with the power of their own stories possibly for the first time.

I recommend this Guide without reservation, and thank the author for reminding us that in these circles, "We are not here to discern the truth, but our truth*. We will be working with an ancient myth that holds different truths for us all…"
