Meet Rob: he’s always wanted to be a dad, but when he and his wife decide to start trying for a family, it doesn’t go smoothly or quickly. Already in their early forties, they never imagined it would take seven years until their son came home with them.
This is the story of a dad who found himself navigating the path to fatherhood via adoption, and everything it took for him (and his writer wife Eve) to get there in the end. This is a story of one parent’s navigation of it all. It’s not trying to be a ‘how to’ or a manual of terms and stages; it’s simply an account of one family’s journey, written for an audience of people who are interested in how they finally got there!
