At forty-four, acclaimed cardiologist John Day was overweight and suffered from insomnia, degenerative joint disease, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. On six medications and suffering constant aches, he needed to make a change. While lecturing in China, he’d heard about a remote mountainous region known as Longevity Village, a wellness Shangri-La free of heart disease, cancer, diabetes, obesity, dementia, depression, and insomnia, and where living past one hundred—in good health—is not uncommon.
In the hope of understanding this incredible phenomenon, Day, a Mandarin speaker, decided to spend some time living in Longevity Village. He learned everything he could about this place and its people, and met its centenarians. His research revealed seven principles that work in tandem to create health, happiness, and longevity—rules he applied to his own life. Six months later, he’d lost thirty pounds, dropped one hundred points off his cholesterol and twenty-five points off his blood pressure, and was even cured of his acid reflux and insomnia. Informazioni sull’autore
Dr. John D. Day is a cardiologist and medical director of heart rhythm specialists at Intermountain Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. He received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University and completed his cardiology training at Stanford University. Dr. Day has published more than one hundred medical studies and gives lectures throughout the world on various heart topics. He is the former president of the Heart Rhythm Society and currently serves as the Utah governor of the American College of Cardiology.
Jane Ann Day, MA, received her master’s degrees from the Georgetown School of Foreign Service and UC Santa Cruz. Her work, documented in international academic journals, has taken her throughout Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa, where she has empowered communities in need with self-reliance and entrepreneurial tools. She is currently a facilitator of executive strategy sessions and seminars. Above all, Jane is the joyful mother of four adventurous young souls who provide her with daily opportunities to practice and teach the seven principles.

Effetti del recesso
In caso di recesso dal presente contratto, ti rimborseremo tutti i pagamenti ricevuti, compresi i costi di spedizione (ad eccezione dei costi supplementari derivanti dalla tua eventuale scelta di un tipo di spedizione diverso dal tipo meno costoso di consegna standard da noi offerto).
Potremo effettuare una detrazione dal rimborso per la perdita di valore dei beni forniti, qualora tale perdita sia il risultato di una manipolazione non necessaria da parte tua.
Eseguiremo il rimborso senza indebito ritardo e non oltre 14 giorni dal giorno in cui saremo informati della tua decisione di recedere dal presente contratto.
