The very first page in this book opens the door to the author and introduces the substance of this book which can be described as short and sweet, truth and Light! Mrs. Mathis describes herself as always having the gift of communication, both written and in speech. However she admits that not until recently did she understand that communication is a gift from God to be used wisely and to edify. One of the two tags she uses often is, “I used to write wrong but now I write, right!”

Paula continues to recognize that through God’s timely intervention and a good cleaning up of her words, her actions and her heart, that she has been primed and prepared to step into her position as a 21^st century “Poet for the Lord”.
