Humanity on the brink of annihilation, one gifted woman their only hope. Will she be ready?
Kayla Tomasson’s life is unfulfilled. She has always known that she can sense the emotional needs of others but has been afraid to act on that knowledge. Until one fateful day she summons the courage – and her entire world is transformed.
She learns that she has more than just an empathic gift – she has a power over others, M.E: Manipulative Empathy. And it terrifies her. Yet she also finds that this rare gift, and the chance to share her ideals and skills with others, lends renewed meaning and purpose to her life. As she works to harness her talents, she learns to love those in her new world – and to use her developing power to thwart those who abuse their M.E. gifts. But her growing delight is suddenly derailed when a mysterious, unknown peril begins to affect the human race. She realizes to her dismay that her powers are far beyond those of anyone else on the planet – that only she has the potential to stop the invading menace.
Can Kayla find a way to bring her M.E. to full strength in time? Can she save humanity from certain doom?
M.E. Unleashed is an intense, gripping exploration into the awesome potential of the human mind, and the importance of empathetic connection in our world. It is a story of frightening interplanetary conflict, but also a story of love, compassion, and understanding. A combination that makes this book an exciting, page-turning science fiction epic for all who crave adventure, inspiration and hope for humanity’s future.
Join Kayla Tomasson and her companions now as they fight for the survival of humanity. Buy M.E. Unleashed, the first book in the M.E. trilogy by Roderick D. Turner.
