SHORT SUMMARY: Life doesn’t get any easier, you just get better at it!
This quote from Elian tells all, but does that mean we need a new partner every 10 years, run away or practice yoga poses to get better at it? 60 Miles from Neiman’s tells a real, raw, and witty story for readers 40+ who want to get their sexy back! Elian describes through her personal journey, a road with odd choices, adventures, obstacles, trauma, hardship, and joy how she, through physical health and wellness, could move trauma and pain that has been stored within for too long. She found this to be true for her clients and patients as well and added these life lessons to this intimate personal story. Even if you don’t know your purpose, this book will connect you with your spiritual self in a new way, without buying a plane ticket to India.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Bestseller & Global Book Awards winning Author Elian Haan stole the show on stage and screen as a global dancer, presenter and actress who performed on such sets as Walker Texas Ranger before eventually producing her own TV show. In this memoir with a twist, Elian’s life off-camera was just as, if not more, captivating than anything on screen.
As a child with severe skeletal issues in a family with enough skeletons in the closet, Dutch born Elian was searching for God in all directions, but He didn’t seem to care about what she wanted. This, and feeling abandoned on many occasions, made her good at faking a smile. Her acting skills served her well as she hid an eating disorder while consumed with her parent’s drama. Coming of age in the heavy blurred lines of professional dance and fitness, she tried many hats in order to be taken seriously as a Barbie blonde.
Despite such ridiculous moments as her husband leaving her for her best friend after following him “across the pond”, stranger-than-fiction lawsuits, many late-night encounters, and spiritual adventures, she finally found herself and her Jesus in the mess and transformed into a sought-after motivational speaker, yoga instructor, and Life Coach who has helped thousands "move" through trauma and addiction.
