Aggiungere al carrelloundated, but c. 1933; folio; 16 pages; with 5 full colour lift-up sectional cutaway illustrations of the working parts of the motor car, with indexes to the parts opposite each plate, plus information on the grades of Shell oils; paperback: original thin card covers, with evocative black & white photos on front and back of a racing driver, title in blue on front; rather worn: spine split and held on with clear tape, edges and corners creased with a few chips in edges; covers a little grubby, with a little foxing; internally, the corners are rather dog-eared, the top inner corner particularly so, and there is a little light foxing in places , but not severe; staples rusty, otherwise good: the various parts of each illustration are complete. Inserted loose is the A4-size yellow Shell-Mex & BP compliments slip, with advertisement for Aeroshell, "officially approved by Rolls-Royce", with a decorative border of rural scenes. A charming period production.
