Riassunto

Die Dynamik einer jeden National�konomie wird von den wirtschaftlich genutzten tech� nischen Entwicklungen ebenso entscheidend beeinflu�t, wie diese Dynamik ihrerseits die Sozialstruktur ver�ndert. Deshalb mu� die empirische Wirtschaftsforschung im Dienste einer �berschaubaren Wirtschafts-, Technologie- und Gesellschaftspolitik den Technischen Fortschritt in ihre Modellanalysen einbeziehen. Dazu eignen sich Input-Output-Analysen, weil sie Vollst�ndigkeit und Stimmigkeit der erfa�ten Daten erzwingen, und dazu eignen sich heuristische Simulationen, weil sie Datenselektionen und Phantasie bei den Modellkonstruktionen zulassen. Die hier f�hrenden Institute aus der Bundesrepublik und aus Westberlin, jeweils vertreten durch eine Wissenschaft� lergruppe, haben sich auf einem Symposium 1977 in Berlin wechselseitig �ber die Leistungsf�higkeit der von ihnen angewandten und weiterentwickelten Methoden zur Erfassung technischer Entwicklungen in �konomischen Analysen informiert. Die dabei vorgetragenen Referate sind f�r den folgenden Bericht �berarbeitet und zusammenge� stellt worden. Das Symposium ist unter der Federf�hrung des Programms Angewandte Systemanalyse (ASA) in der Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Gro�forschungszentren und im Zusammenwirken des Deutschen Institutes f�r Wirtschaftsforschung (DIW) mit dem Industrieseminar der Universit�t Mannheim (ISM) abgehalten worden.
