Models have become the superstars of the '90s - and male supermodels are the newest phenomenon in this glamorous, cosmopolitan world. Often stealing the limelight from their female counterparts, they are attracting increasing media attention and an almost cult following to rival even the most famous film stars and rock idols. Boss Models, the first agency for the male model, has singlehandedly launched the careers of some of the most successful male models of today - men whose gorgeous bodies and sculpted features can be admired in top fashion magazines, on billboards in the street, on television, and on the catwalks in London, Paris, Milan and New York. This text provides an insight into life behind the scenes of Boss Models. Photographs of over 100 men are accompanied by personal interviews with such figures as Joel West, to be seen in New York's Times Square on the Calvin Klein billboard, Mark Fisher, the new Ralph Lauren POLO model, Marcus Schenkenberg, the very first Boss model to be signed up, and many others whose faces may well be more familiar than their names.
