AI in Manufacturing and Green Technology (Green Engineering and Technology)

This book focuses on environmental sustainability by employing elements of engineering and green computing through modern educational concepts and solutions. It visualizes the potential of artificial intelligence, enhanced by business activities and strategies for rapid implementation, in manufacturing and green technology.

This book covers utilization of renewable resources and implementation of the latest energy-generation technologies. It discusses how to save natural resources from depletion and illustrates facilitation of green technology in industry through usage of advanced materials. Sambit Kumar Mishra is having more than 22 years of experience in different AICTE approved institutions. He has more than 29 publications in different peer reviewed International Journals and editorial board member of different peer reviewed indexed Journals. Presently he is associated with Gandhi Institute for Education and Technology, Baniatangi, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.

Zdzislaw Polkowski is presently associated with Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, Poland, He holds a PhD degree in Computer Science and Management from Wroclaw University of Technology, Post Graduate degree in Microcomputer Systems in Management from University of Economics in Wroclaw and Post Graduate degree IT in Education from Economics University in Katowice. He obtained his Engineering degree in Industrial Computer Systems from Technical University of Zielona Gora. He has published more than 55 papers in journals, 15 conference proceedings, including more than 8 papers in journals indexed in the Web of Science. He served as a member of Technical Program Committee in many International conferences in Poland, India, China, Iran, Romania and Bulgaria.

Samarjeet Borah is currently working as Professor in the Department of Computer Applications, Sikkim Manipal University (SMU), Sikkim, India. Dr. Borah handles various academics, research and administrative activities. He is also involved in curriculum development activities, board of studies, doctoral research committee, IT infrastructure management etc. along with various administrative activities under SMU. Dr. Borah is involved with various funded projects in the capacity of Principal Investigator/Co-principal Investigator. The projects are sponsored by agencies like AICTE (Govt. of India), DST-CSRI (Govt. of India), Dr. TMA Pai Endowment Fund etc. He is associated with ACM (CSTA), IAENG and IACSIT. Dr. Borah organized various national and international conferences in SMU. Some of these events include ISRO Sponsored Training Programme on Remote Sensing & GIS, NCWBCB 2014, NER-WNLP 2014, IC3-2016, IC3-2018, IC3-2020 etc. He is also associated with various other conferences in the capacity of Steering Committee member, TPC member, editorial board member, volume editor and reviewer. Dr. Borah is involved with various book volumes and journals of repute in the capacity of Editor/Guest Editor/Reviewer such as IJHISI, IJGHPC, IJVCSN, IJIPT, IJDS, IJBM, WRITR, IEEE Access etc. He is editor-in-chief of the series Research Notes on Computing and Communication Sciences, Apple Academic Press (Exclusive worldwide distribution by CRC press).

Ritesh Dash is presently associated with Christian College of Engineering, Bhilai, Chhatisgarh. He is having good number of publications in various indexed and scopus Journals.
