"Some Memory Span Problems an Analytical Study at the College - Adult Level" is a rigorous investigation into the cognitive limits and mechanics of human memory. Written by Robert A. Brotemarkle, this analytical study focuses specifically on the adult and college-aged demographic, providing a detailed look at the diagnostic value of memory span tests in early 20th-century psychology.

The work explores the various factors influencing memory retention, including auditory and visual stimuli, and examines the correlation between individual memory capacity and broader intellectual performance. Through meticulous experimentation and data analysis, the author evaluates the methodology of psychological testing and the interpretation of mental results. This study serves as a foundational text for understanding the evolution of cognitive measurement and the specific challenges of quantifying memory at an advanced academic level. It remains a significant resource for researchers interested in the history of experimental psychology, the development of psychometric standards, and the fundamental processes of the human mind.
