Fourth edition corrected and improved. Wide 8vo. xxvi, 258 + 2pp. Bw eng portrait frontis of author. Contains nine contemporary full page inserts, in copperplate, of practise examples of the different arithmetick methods. These are framed with ink decorative borders and small drawings. Brown contemporary stamped, panelled calf , raised bands to spine with stamped cartouche and 1701, titles gilt to red label. Spine relaid and eps replaced at some time. Lacks possible half title. Edges slight rubbed, corners bumped, rear cover 1 x 3cm chip to calf exposing board. Slight browning to pages. **. Attractive book. VG.
