What if the last forecast was not about rain, but about extinction?

In the year 2131 AD, Earth stands on the brink of collapse. Rising CO₂ levels, unchecked pollution, and the destruction of biodiversity have pushed the planet past the extinction curve. Humanity’s survival hangs by a thread.

When advanced climate stations confirm that life on Earth can no longer be sustained, a desperate mission is launched: Project Jeevan. At its head is Dr Yeeshu, an Indian-origin meteorologist who once predicted Earth’s final threshold. His task is not just exploration but judgement.

Alongside a geologist, a biologist, and an engineer, Yeeshu leads an interstellar journey to K2-18b, a newly discovered Hycean planet with oceans, storms, and the possibility of life. But what they find is beyond imagination: a world that is not just habitable but alive. Its storms, tides, and oceans pulse with memory—and it knows Earth’s story of extinction.

Now humanity faces its greatest choice:
Conquer and repeat the mistakes of Earth…
Or coexist and forge a covenant with a living planet.

Blending science fiction, climate realism, and spiritual reflection, The Meteorologist is a gripping eco-thriller about responsibility, resilience, and second chances. For fans of Kim Stanley Robinson, Liu Cixin, and climate fiction, this novel is both a warning and a hope — reminding us that survival is not conquest, but coexistence.
