Riassunto
Music is easier than you think! Most people could not conceive of building a grand structure like the Taj Mahal, but when we consider the processes of its creation, it seems less daunting. Each brick was easy to place, each stroke of the paintbrush as unchallenging as the one that came before. It is the combination of these simple processes that creates complexity and beauty, and music is no different. Just as anyone can learn how to lay a brick, anyone can learn to write a melody or a chord progression. You can start writing music today without even knowing how to play an instrument! Music by Numbers is a method of music composition designed to appeal to complete beginners, as well as introducing new compositional approaches to more experienced musicians. Read this book and learn how to: • Use key musical concepts to create your first composition • Record, edit and mix your music • Work in a range of musical genres
