The consequences of these pastors' actions are more deadly and far-reaching than many can realise. Their corruption of the Gospel of Christ to make money for themselves has also led to the pollution of the land by deactivating the power of the Gospel to cleanse and sanctify the land. When the Gospel is corrupted, the Spirit of the Gospel that brings life goes out, and what is left is the Letter (Law), which kills (2 Corinthians 3:6). In the absence of the Spirit of the Gospel to neutralise Satan's power, the church and the land become a playground for Satan and his demons. That is why Nigeria is where it is today. If Nigeria were to collapse tomorrow, blame the Pentecostal church for it.
