Professional astrologer and Jungian psychotherapist, Elizabeth Spring, weaves personal stories with the astrological wisdom of the North and South Nodes. There are detailed explanations of how to find and understand your own karmic Nodes as well as the life-changing transits that impact your life direction, soul purpose, career and relationships.

Elizabeth’s heart-felt chapter on the "Astrology of Menopause" has been re-published around the world, and the humorous chapter "Cocktails and Karma"explores the bridging between astrologers, ministers, and therapists. The “ Family Karmic Inheritance” inspires a compassionate view on family relationships. Endorsed by Jungian author Jim Hollis, and evolutionary astrologer, Steven Forrest, this book is a reference book as well as a collection of articles that shed light on the Soul's Journey.

An inspiring guide for transmuting the grace and grit of life into the gold of healing and personal success.Steven Forrest Review: "This book does a fine job of exploring the lunar nodes and also provides a solid introduction to the outer planets. Elizabeth is a very fine writer too, which is a curiously rare quality among astrologers. She brings a very personal perspective to bear on the symbolism, generalizing effectively from her own experience to the broader principles which apply to everyone. Truth in advertising: Elizabeth has studied with me in my apprenticeship program. She is my favorite kind of student -- one who respectfully internalizes what I teach, and who then goes on to find her own voice."

Elizabeth Spring, MA, has a degree in counseling psychology with an emphasis in the work of Carl Jung. She is an astrologer, writer, and psychotherapist in private practice in Wickford, Rhode Island. Elizabeth began her astrological studies in Boston in 1969 and has been a professional astrologer since 1992. Her astrology could be described as "archetypal" in that she specializes in exploring the hidden dynamics and symbolic meanings of the planetary archetypes, and as "evolutionary" with its unique emphasis on rediscovering one's life direction and soul purpose as embedded within the karmic parable of the North and South Nodes. As a writer, she has published a book of poetry, "Pieces of My Heart," a screenplay based on the life of J. Krishnamurti, and many astrological articles and short stories that can be read on her website: www.elizabethspring.com. This is her first book.
