This freewheeling irresistible narrative by the ex-Italian tennis pro player and now “coach of champions”, Claudio Pistolesi, immerses us firsthand in the greatest moments, places and names of tennis. Here we meet “Boris Becker the Great”, Jimmy Connors, John McEnroe, Mats Wilander, Pete Sampras, Agassi, Roger Federer, and many others. And then Monica Seles, who - after being stabbed at the top of her career - rises again and wins the Australian slam, with Pistolesi as her coach, beyond others (the young Japanese Takao, Söderling the Swedish champ etc.). We leave for Rome, Caracas, Melbourne, Monte Carlo, Paris, and then Hong Kong, New York and the Land of the Rising Sun. Pistolesi shares with us stories, anecdotes and the important teachings he has gained on and off the court during his 40-year-long career driven by a pure, visceral, almost religious love for this truly unique sport and its world.
