This first of the five substantive books of the series (like the other editions but with improvements) lays the epistemological foundation of ORMS. It introduces the basic concepts and techniques in the major sub-disciplines of the science Linear Optimisation Theory, Inventory Analysis, Queueing Theory and Network Analysis.
The presentation format in the book is optimised for costs minimisation. And the writing style is deliberately chosen to make the book virtually lecture ORMS techniques to the reader, whereby first [in the eBook version] we have the versatile Kindle-Create bookmarks for easy topics/tables/figures reference. Second [for both versions] the paragraphs are numbered and itemised [the lawyers’ style] for easy cross reference of concepts throughout the book, thereby eliminating the need for hyperlinks [whose use in this case would not be optimal]. Third the subject matter exposition is in such a way that the reader enjoys the knowledge and its applications without fear of numbers, mathematical formulae and figures; after all ORMS techniques deal with facts and not numbers nor figures!

Effetti del recesso
