GRK 039317 Later edition, with no date anywhere that I could find, in a handsome brown cloth binding with bright gilt on front board and spine. Corners are worn (one through the cloth, while the remaining wear is mild. Front gutter is exposed but still tight. Interior is tight and clean, save for previous owner's name on inside board. Includes, in the preface, the translator's argument for why Plutarch needed their translation.

We had an open shop in the Northwest section of Philadelphia in the Chestnut Hill, Mt Airy neighborhood for 18 1/2 years. It was in a beautiful 1882 train station designed by the noted architect, Frank Furness. In August of 2014, we closed that shop but continue to sell on-line out of our home in Williamsburg, PA. We'd love to have you visit our 8,000 plus books, by appointment.
