"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." - Martin Luther King Jr., "Letter from a Birmingham Jail" In this life, we will face injustice at one point or another. The question is, what format that injustice will take. When our time comes, what do we do? How do we stand up against injustice while remaining hopeful and encouraged against pressure and pain? Persevering Under Pressure: Patiently Pursuing Justice by Pastor Brian Watson and Minister Renee Watson is a powerful book which takes readers on the authors' years-long battle with injustice from a former employer that led to forced unemployment and the difficult ordeal of fighting for their rights. Contrasting their personal life experiences with those of several biblical characters who also suffered injustice, such as Joseph, Abraham, and Job, Pastor and Minister Watson share wisdom and insight with readers on how they gained strength from Scripture to overcome their own battles and walk away stronger in their faith, marriage, and ministry. A timely topic in today's world, no matter what type of injustice you are currently facing, the authors are here to remind you that it is not too big for the Lord. Come along on the journey with the Watsons and be encouraged while you patiently pursue justice, learning strategies you can implement to win with the Word. You are an overcomer, and you will persevere! Pastor Brian Watson and Minister Renee Watson are native Washingtonians. Both were educated in the DC Public School System.
