Gramercy reprint of 1966, and the inscription is dated 1966. Written and illustrated by Peter Hunt, a well known Cape Cod painter, also known for his colorful folk art style and painted furniture. A cookbook chock full of delicious traditional Cape Cod recipes, featuring fish, and many Portuguese recipes from the large Portuguese population on Cape. He divides Cape Cod cooking into three parts, New England, Portuguese, and Sophisticated, described by chapter headings, "The Portuguese are Wonderful Cooks", "These Recipes are Tradition on Cape Cod", and ""Off Capers" Food".
