Everyone's favorite person.
Nobody's first choice.

Ana Beltrán is the one you call when the florist cancels, the seating chart implodes, or the bride is crying in the bathroom an hour before the ceremony. She's the steady one. The kind one. The friend who always, always shows up.

She's planned a hundred weddings.

She's never once been the bride.

So Ana does something terrifying: she stops. Stops volunteering. Stops fixing. Stops buying her place in everyone's life by making herself indispensable — and finally asks the question she's dodged for thirty years.

What does she actually want?

The answer is quieter than she expected. His name is Caleb.

He's the sound engineer who lingers at the edges of every wedding — the man who notices everything and needs nothing, who sees Ana the moment she stops performing and never once asks her to be smaller, easier, or more available. With Caleb, for the first time in her life, Ana doesn't feel useful.

She feels chosen.

But a man who's spent his whole life refusing to need anyone has walls of his own — and when his world cracks wide open, Ana faces the hardest test there is. Not whether she can show up for someone she loves. Whether she can stop chasing, hold her ground, and let herself be met instead of managed.

A warm, witty, achingly real love story about boundaries, self-worth, and the quiet courage of finally stopping leaving yourself behind.

Readers are falling for this one if they love:

About the Author:

Helena Moreau writes swoony, slow-burn romantic comedies about strong, curvy heroines, cinnamon-roll men, and the beautiful chaos of falling in love when you least expect it. When she’s not baking up fictional wedding disasters or writing flirty banter at midnight, she’s drinking too much coffee, misplacing her phone, and pretending not to cry at strangers’ love stories.

She believes in messy feelings, happy endings, and second chances—preferably with frosting.

Sweet on You is her debut novel and Book One of the Curvy Brides Club series.
