Paperback. Master Modern Container Engineering with Podman-The Secure, Daemonless Alternative for Today's Linux Infrastructure Are you ready to move beyond basic containers and build production-ready, secure, and scalable Linux infrastructure? Podman Engineering for Beginners is a practical, hands-on guide designed to help aspiring DevOps engineers, system administrators, cloud professionals, cybersecurity practitioners, and Linux enthusiasts master modern containerization usingPodman, Buildah, Skopeo, Kubernetes, and OCI technologies. The book focuses on real-world engineering principles rather than simple command memorization, teaching readers how modern container platforms actually work beneath the surface. Unlike many container books that focus solely on running commands, this guide explains the architecture, security models, Linux foundations, and infrastructure design patterns that power modern cloud-native systems. Readers learn how containers interact with namespaces, cgroups, OCI standards, networking, storage, systemd, and Kubernetes while developing practical skills that translate directly to production environments.
