Very good condition. (42549). Brigadier General James A. Norell served on active duty for 22 years before retiring from the army in 1963. His World War II assigments included a tour on general Dwight D. Eisenhower's staff in Europe. After the war, he was assigned to the staff of General Douglas MacArthur in Tokyo, as photographed 15 March 1963.
