Recensione
"Paraskeue and paraskeuazein are used much more by Thucydides than by other classical Greek writers. June Allison analyzes his use of the idea of preparedness as the basis of power, distinguishing between paraskeue as the process of preparation, as the state of preparedness, and as the thing prepared, and between the making ready of resources already available and the provision of resources not yet available." -- Greece and Rome
