Neuware - Book Overview: A rebus story is told using pictures/drawings in place of words. The pictures can symbolise a word, an action or a character. In a rebus book, complex words have their image added to them, so the child is able to easily decode them and work on the sight words used in-between. Because the Rebus principle focuses on pictographs representing single words, sounds and syllables, it can help children get to grips with specific phonemes they need to know. It can also be used among older children to tap on their decoding skills! Read along this exciting story book with Princess Yoyo as she depicts her 3 wonderful and colourful short stories with you! When you see a picture in place of a word, say the word in its place to read the story. 'Princess Yoyo's Rebus Treasury' is an excellent guide for young readers, trying to learn how to form sentences and read. Younger children can be read to, while older ones should be encouraged to read on their own. After all, kids would love reading/recognising colourful pictures in place of words! Young author moralises her fellow readers the art of sharing, giving and exploring the world around you. This rebus book helps children increase their vocabulary. It is an attempt to familiarise them with certain set of words. The colourful illustrations make the subject attractive and grab their attention. This story book is: - Suitable for children of age group 2 - 7 years, but can be used for learners up till the age of 12 to develop decoding skills. - Can be used by individuals as well as schools. Schools could use them to reinforce the concept of rebus story writing in children.- Could also be a part of the library catalogue where students could come and explore learning on their own.- Enhances readers' imagination and creative skills. - A large font book that makes reading stories easier and joyful!- Is an ideal and meaningful collectable for gifting. - Offers a perspective to think out of the box. - Each story helps children relax, improve their IQ, boost imagination and develop a passion for reading. - Moralistic views on sharing and giving away to the needy. - Fascinating read for children, as they delve around different places, adventures/activities with Princess Yoyo.
