VG++ / -- Undated but presumed to be first edition (1933). Foreword by Beatrice L. Warde. "Profusely illustrated with Examples and Diagrams". Many b/w and colour illustrations. Bright silver titles and decorations to spine and upper cover on black pebbled boards. Green tint to top page edge. Binding is very firm and tight. Slight bumping to one cover corner and small stain at foot of upper cover. Slight fading to tint on top page edge. Apart from owner's name on front pastedown, interior is very clean with no inscriptions. Not ex-library.
