The first interlude is entitled The Lake, and it involves a journey of self-exploration that takes place in a lush, verdant hideaway. The Lickin is a short piece filled with deliciously wicked imagery absolutely designed to curl your toes. Back to Back Belly to Belly, one of my favorites, is probably the stuff of every woman's fantasies. I had great fun figuring out where all the parts would go! What's in a Name? is to get you thinking about how we communicate about the little things. The Party is a delightful fantasy full of spontaneity and boldness. I'll bet you'll find yourself wondering what you would do in this situation. The Stranger was a definite challenge and one I know I need to think about more. As with many of the interludes, the spirit might move me in an entirely different direction the next time. Take a peek at Assume the Position, and you'll see what I mean. Sweet Sticky Thing pushed me because I allowed myself to be pushed. I guess sometimes what you don't know can be good to you.

Monica Hayes has been writing erotica for some time now. This is her first published work. She hopes her erotic interludes will get people talking about sex and getting to great sex. Her characters are positive, seeking to promote awareness and appreciation of sensuality and sexuality. Her work is explicit, designed to titillate and educate. I have written a collection of erotic interludes, delicious moments in time, describing very intimate sexual experiences designed to allow the reader to hear the thoughts and to experience the feelings and sensations of the partners in each interlude. I write erotica because the effects of the language and the sights and sounds of sex can be a natural turn on. The voices I use seek to push the envelope for myself as well as my readers. If I only write about what I know, the supply of ideas is limited. I am in a secure and confident place in my life that fosters an interest in and excitement about the notion of fantasy. Great sex between mature adults who respect one another is like no other feeling. Enjoy.
