28 x 21" color map with scale 5 1/2 Statue miles = 1 inch that folds into a tan card stock folder ca. 4 x 6.5". Map virtually unopened before I opened it to measure it, no marks or separations on the map, cardstock folder slightly darkened and slightly soiled, a bit of rust on the staples, all-in-all in remarkably fine condition given its age and fragility. 18p. of front matter in a stapled booklet with information on Electric Lines, Railroads, Counties, Bays, Islands, Rivers Lakes, Reservoirs, Ponds, Miscellaneous, Towns, Counties, and the like, as well as numerous period ads. [List of] Principal Cities with population numbers in upper left margin of map. Rhode Island and Connecticut Railroads shown in red on the map as well as all steamboat routes to and from Rhode Island and Connecticut. Note: Map actually shows not only Rhode Island, but also Connecticut as well. Shown on the map are the following: Railroads and Electric Lines, Counties, Municipal Townships, Cities, Towns, Villages, Post Offices, Lakes, Rivers, Ponds, Mountains, and the like.
